Week 13 - The Climax - Gladiator

So again I have faaaailed! I didn't get around to starting this one in time, my apologies guys. I was supposed to be illustrating a bit at the end of Gladiator where Maximus is walking through fields to his wife and son in the afterlife, he's finally re-united with his family.

This week I'm going to begin some work on a project I have an idea for that I may take on in a module this year, it's called 'Seeker'. I will tell more soonio.

Week 9 - The Relentless Hero

I also haven't finished my image but wanted to post something. It's still a long way off of completion. My intial idea seemed to slip away as I created this image, the hero was supposed to be stumbling along wounded on a battlefield but still continuing the fight until his last breath. I might give this one another shot some time. Take it easy guys =)

Hey guys and gal! So I've been struggling this week with trying to draw Samus Aran from Metroid and I've finally given up. I've decided to go back to my original idea of drawing Link because he rocks my socks. This is my rough sketch that I've just knocked up. Happy drawing!

Week 4 -Cover Re-Interpretations - Star Wars Omnibus: At War with The Empire progress

Hey guys! Looking forward to doing this weeks challenge. I got lazy so I'm going to try and pick up the pace again. Anyhew, my favourite book at the mo is The Time Travelers Wife...however I do not find the cover too exciting. I love the covers for the STAR WARS OMNIBUS series so I thought I'd do one of theme. Now I went through a load of theme and they're all very nice but I found that the most iconic and bold one was this one, Vader looking badass as per usual.

Here's what I've got going on so far. I'm trying not to go too far away from the original in terms of composition but I thought I'd change a few of the poses. I'm not keen on how the colours are turning out, lots of work needed. Hope you're all having a wicked weekend :)

Week 1 - So it begins - Time to jump

Here's my submission, it changed so much, it looked nothing like the original idea. Anyhew, the initial idea was that there would be a paratrooper about to jump into a battlefield, this would fit the title 'So it begins'. But that didn't happen! I could have taken this further but quite frankly, I'm lazy!
